Thesis
Human intuition and creativity is a commodity to be cherished and celebrated. Adobe’s tools help people develop, extend, expand, and bring ideas into existence. Traditionally these ideas are executed within the confines of a canvas, page, stage, AR room, film or animation.

Empirically, the tools present unlimited potential and creativity, but what about unlimited world or story building in an unlimited space that celebrates collective human creativity.

Can every creator, every known, unknown and imagined place in the universe, every scene in a film in a continuously evolving story be linked together affecting the viewer's emotions and intellect? Can any idea, person, location, space, dimension or time be spliced together visually and represented in one place allowing the narrative to run ripshod with twists and turns on and on forever?
An infinite, seamless picture.
Proposal
The first-ever, contiguous, living, infinitely expanding community-created mural, made possible only by humans, using the power of Adobe Firefly.

Workflow
In the simplest terms, it starts with a single piece of art infused with Firefly elements. The world is invited to add to the top, bottom, or sides using Adobe Firefly and Generative Expand that automatically stitches the art together. The mural grows exponentially over time, taller and wider to infinitum with story trails going in any direction the people take it.

Potential
•  Watch a birds-eye view of the murals expansion in playback mode from any point in time.
•  Every piece of art is signed using Adobe Content Credentials making it searchable. “I want to see Gabriele Simonetta’s or Flora Borsis contribution to the mural. What were their prompts? What is their take on AI and creativity?”

Questions to be explored
What are the limits, if any, of Gen Fill? Is it computer memory, file size, storage?
This is a question for a backend engineer and depends on how/where the experience is built.  As it’s described, content would have to be stored on a servers and streamed to users like an online multiplayer game. Integrating Firefly as a feature in that would be a task within that.
Can the experience time people out or limit sumbissions, so others can add to the map in an equitable manner?
Can we include Adobe Substance or Neo as part of the workflow to introduce a z-axis?
“It definitely applies for the creation and composing of assets within a given scene. Technically you can create anything from scratch with Modeler, texture with Painter/Sampler/Designer, compose with Stager and export for Web. For alternate workflows using external apps for animation etc. those tools still apply, but a different app might be used for composing etc.” J Patton - Creative Director, 3D and Immersive, Adobe
